RS-485 control panel for computer-based control of turnstiles and barriers

The device is capable of controlling both monostable (normal) and set-reset (bistable) relays via serial port messages, allowing, for example, turnstile or swing gate arms to be opened in either direction.

It is equipped with bistable relays, which enable continuous switching signals to be sent to devices (for example, controlling status indicator LEDs or lights).

In addition to the outputs, the device also features 4 independent inputs, to which feedback signals from turnstiles and barriers can be connected (arm position, rotation/turn detection, etc.).

The device is able to monitor the status of the computer, and if it does not receive a status signal (heartbeat) from the computer at defined intervals, it can switch itself—and the devices it controls—into an emergency operating mode.
